Hytera HYT TC610

The TC610 is an analogue two way radio manufactured by Hytera. As it is built to IP66 standards the TC610 is protected from dust and it can be fully submersed in water of up to 3 meters. A standard 1200mAh Li-Ion battery comes with the radio itself and can keep the TC610 operating for up to 12 hours. Standing at 117mm tall and 54mm wide the compact design enables easy use of the radio in all workplace environments but it is especially useful in leisure centres or swimming baths.

The TC610 comes with 16 programmable channels which is great for a small team of users, along with this the channel scanning feature will check through all the channels for activity, once any activity is found the feature will automatically stop and the audio transmissions will be heard. The voice activation feature (VOX) is also available with the TC610 which allows your communications to be hands free with a compatible accessory. One final example of a feature available with the TC610 is the Timeout feature and this activates when the PTT button is pressed for too long, this feature will electronically disable the button making it temporarily unable to send audio frequencies.

Straight out of the box the TC610 is easy to set up by simply screwing the antenna into place and attaching the battery to its back. An energy saving mode will extend the battery life and will also notify you when your battery needs charging. The TC610 is a great starter radio for any user in any environment as it is very affordable whilst also holding a variety of features.
