Motorola TLK 150 Vehicle Two Way Radio

Motorola TLK 150 is the vehicle mobile two-way radio that is to be used on the nationwide Wave PTX two-way radio system. Operating via WiFi and cellular signals, the TLK 150 has been dubbed as the ideal communications choice for transport companies operating over extended distances. The TLK 150 has a channel capacity of 96 whilst also having a 300 capacity contact list meaning that it is more than sufficient for communications in a large organization.

The TLK 150 is most commonly used alongside the Wave PTX platform, this is a dispatcher software that will allow for the real time monitoring of location and conversations from radios within the network. Specific call groups can be set up allowing for designated sectors of your business to have private conversations, whilst larger organization wide groups can be set up for important announcements and alerts.

Alongside the ability to communicate in selected groups, the TLK 150 can also communicate via private calls allowing for sensitive information to remain so. In terms of safety features there have been multiple functions implemented by Motorola to ensure the security of your workers, this including a designated emergency button that when pressed will send an alert to other radios and/or a base station. As mentioned the TLK 150 has GPS functionality which allows for you to quickly locate a radio, Bluetooth also comes as standard which allows for the connection of wireless accessories to ensure that wires don't get in the way whilst the user performs their tasks.

Although the TLK 150 is predominantly a vehicle radio it can also be used as a base station within a building or on a site. Having been built to IP54 Ingres protection this ensures the radios reliability should it be subjected to dust or water, whilst also having been tested to military standards against adverse weather conditions. The TLK 150 has a slim design allowing for easy mounting within a vehicle, giving the user the choice of mounting to either the dashboard or overhead in their vehicle.
