The PD665 is a digital two way radio from Hytera. With a 1024 channel capacity split over 64 zones with 254 channels per zone, this is a compact radio that is popular across many industries. The PD665 comes as standard with a 1500mAh battery that will last for up to 14 hours, but should you need a longer life the 2000mAh Li-Ion battery is available for an additional price.
The PD665 is built to Military Standards (MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G) the radio is also IP67 compliant. This means that as well as the radio being extremely durable it is also dust tight, also being protected against the effects of immersion in water of a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. VOX voice activation allows for hands free use of the device, meaning should you be busy you don’t need to stop what you are doing in order to make communications with a colleague. Quick text messages can also be programmed into this device, allowing the user to communicate with a team without the use of vocal communication.
Over-the-air programming is an additional extra with this device via smart dispatch 4.0, a helpful addition as it means that radios do not need downtime from operation, therefore maximising output from your team. Voice Interrupt is also a feature, allowing for communications to be interrupted should an important message need to be relayed to the radios in use, whether that be for emergency or service announcement.
FREE Radio ID Labels Supplied & Applied
For no extra cost, we supply labels with all of our radios.
Our labels are unique in that they have a space where you can write on them with a sharpie-type permanent marker. You can either use this space to write a radio number or apply a dymo label for example. These labels are 100% free of charge

Hytera Warranty & Extension Options
All Hytera two way radios carry a 24 month return to base (RTB) warranty. Hytera will guarantee you a working radio by offering a repair for a period of two years from the purchase invoice date. The warranty only covers the radio itself and does not cover the battery, antenna or any other consumables or accessories.

Warranty offered is a manufacturer's warranty and is directly with Hytera. However, all warranty claims must be made via Radotronics.
Note: Return to Base (RTB) means that you are responsible for the postage cost to Hytera for a warranty claim. However, Hytera will return the item to you or your dealer free of charge. * Does not include shipping time.
Ofcom Two Way Radio Licence Options
All licensed radios in the UK require a licence issued by Ofcom. But that shouldn't put you off. Radiotronics UK can make the application on your behalf and remove all of the paperwork and or red tape for you. Read more about two way radio licensing.
